Fuelfighter cares about your privacy and the security of any data you give us.
We ask for information from you to provide quotes, process orders, deliver products and/or services, and to take payments. We may need to communicate with you about these items and we may wish to provide you with information or offers which may be of interest to you.
Some information is passed on to our suppliers to allow them to deliver to you. This information includes your name and contact details and the product(s) you have ordered.
If you would like us to change or delete any of the information we hold about just ask by dropping us an email.
Bank and Payment Information
When you place an order and make payment your card information is passed directly to the banking network by a secure payment gateway. Fuelfighter and its’ suppliers do not hold or have access to any detailed card information. The connection between your computer and the payment gateway is encrypted. Website pages protected using this SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption always begin with “https” rather than “http”. You will see this in the address bar near the top of your screen. The money is transferred direct to the Suppliers bank account.
We will never ask you for any bank or credit card information by email.
Browsing information we collect
We do collect details of web traffic to allow us to continually develop the website. This will include the dates and times the website is visited, server addresses and web pages visited.
Cookies allow our computer to recognise your browser and make it easier for you to use our website. Cookies are usually enabled in most browsers by default and you will need to have Cookies enable to allow you to place an order.
Telephone Numbers and Email addresses
We collect telephone numbers and email addresses to allow communication between ourselves and you regarding quotations orders and delivery. This information is also passed to our suppliers so that they can contact you regarding any delivery or payment issues.
Fuelfighter and its’ Suppliers take the issue of Computer Security very seriously.
The Internet is not totally secure and it is important that our Customers protect themselves by using up to date versions of their software and ensuring they have appropriate anti virus and other types of protection to prevent attacks on their own computers.
